Engraved frontispiece, three inserted plates, folding chart showing the course taken by the Rurick, and large folding chart of Beering's Strait in volume one; engraved frontispiece, two inserted plates, large folding chart of the Romanzoff's Islands, folding chart of the islands of Radack and Ralick, and chart of the Caroline Islands in volume two; engraved frontispiece, inserted drawing, and two charts of the Caroline Islands in volume three. All the frontispieces and inserted plates (with the exception of the drawing) are hand-coloured.
