First edition in English. 222pp + 2pp of advertisements. Original dark green cloth stamped in gold on the spine panel, decorated endpapers. With ten illustrations. The fantastic sequel to Verne's moon books. This translation differs from the British edition published by Sampson Low as does the number of chapters (twenty-one, as in the original French edition, versus twenty). Text block is age toned, faint soiling to cloth on the front panel, front hinge a bit weak, lacks front free endpaper. A good+ copy which still presents nicely.
